Who should apply

ORCA is constantly seeking to recruit high quality trainers and consultants in the areas we cover.  We may also be interested in (and have potential customers for) specialists in additional areas, and are happy to receive proposals for this without obligation.

Candidates for recruitment should be able to demonstrate a high level of expertise and sound practical experience in their areas of specialisation.  You will need to show good presentational and communication skills and to be familiar with the use of IT and screen/video equipment for these purposes.  Your language ability in English (the primary language for training) and other key languages such as Arabic (especially for consultancy) will be taken into consideration.

Candidates must be in good health, possess a recognised driving licence and be able and ready to travel worldwide at short notice.

Selection procedure

If you wish to be a candidate for recruitment, the process is initiated by your completion of the online form (link on the right-hand side of this page).  At this stage you should provide sufficient detail of your qualifications, experience and availability to enable us to form a view on whether to take matters forward.  We will then communicate with you.  During the selection procedure a successful candidate will be expected to provide a full curriculum vitae and evidence of achievements, together with professional and personal references.  There will be an interview where the candidate will be asked to demonstrate presentational and communication skills.

If you are successful, appointment to a training or consultancy assignment is generally made on a per-diem or per-week basis on the usual terms of consultancy.  We monitor the performance of ORCA's consultants and trainers in order to build a stable range of excellent and constantly-improving services.
